    • “Case #: 2020-95056: Off-Duty Windsor Police Officer Charged with Assault: Following a complaint of intimate partner violence, a Windsor Police Service Constable with 9 years seniority is facing a charge of assault. The assault charge stems from an incident that occurred in June of this year and was reported on Monday, October 19. The Windsor Police Service contacted the Chatham-Kent Police Service to assist with the investigation. On Monday, October 19, 2020 the subject officer was arrested by investigators with the Chatham-Kent Police Service. The subject officer and the victim had been in a relationship. To protect the identity of the victim, the officer’s name will not be released. The officer has been charged with one count of Assault, and was released on an Undertaking to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, … on November 5, 2020 ….     • “The Windsor Police Services board and two officers face a $600,000 defamation lawsuit from an Arby’s restaurant franchise following an incident in June. The lawsuit, filed by James Laughton Enterprises Inc., names officer Tim Kettlewell, officer Shawn Farrand and the Windsor Police Services board”.   • August 14, 2020
    • On Friday August 14, 2020, the Windsor Police Service arrested a 29-year veteran Constable of the Windsor Police Service and charged the officer with Criminal Harassment (Harassment By Repeated Communication with Person). Due to circumstances surrounding the investigation, the Chatham-Kent Police Service will be continuing the investigation and to protect the identity of the victim, the officer’s name will not be released. The officer will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, 200 Chatham Street East, Windsor, Ontario, on September 22, 2020 at 9:30 AM, courtroom #6. The officer has been suspended from duty, with pay.   • June 18, 2020
    • a WPS officer attended an Arby’s restaurant drive-thru. During the process of obtaining his order, the officer observed two restaurant employees kneeling and looking at him. The officer’s order was completed by the restaurant manager while the two other employees remained kneeling. The officer photographed the scene, cancelled his order, received a refund and left the restaurant without further incident. The officer shared his experience and the photo with an off-duty officer who, in turn, posted both the photo and the inaccurate detailing of events to his personal social media account. The off-duty officer implied in his post that this Arby’s restaurant should not count on the off-duty police officer responding to their location should they need it. The conduct of the off-duty officer is now under internal review (Source: WPS Press Release)
    • The off-duty officer was reported to be Officer Tim Kettlewell (Source: CTV News). Kettlewell was demoted in 2014 for stealing lottery tickets. (Source: The Windsor Star)
  • June 11, 2020
    • Issam Salame, a Windsor Police Service Constable with 13 years seniority, is charged with two counts of Utter Forged Documents.
    • He was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in October 16, 2020

  • May 21, 2020
    • Dejan Djurovic, a Windsor Police Service Constable with 3 years seniority, is charged with:  Assault Cause Bodily Harm, Forcible Confinement, Assault/Choking, Mischief Under $5,000
    • He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on September 22, 2020. The involved officer has been suspended from duty.

  • May 6, 2020
    • Mark Stock, a 54 year old male, is charged with one count of sexual assault.
    • Stock is a Windsor Police Service Constable, who worked for the Service from January of 1987 to January of 2017, and has been charged with sexual assault involving an off-duty incident in 2016.
    • He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on September 18, 2020
